Interface language
Open the language or flag control at the bottom of the sidebar and select an available language. The choices shown there are the interface options for that version of the service.
If an existing conversation does not pick up the language change, check the conversation settings before resetting it. A reset can remove the current scene's context.
Ask for the reply language clearly
For a conversation, try Please reply in French, using short everyday sentences, and keep the character's name unchanged.
If a reply switches languages, restate the preference along with the immediate question.
Translation quality can vary. A character responding to a language prompt does not mean every menu, media tool or voice option supports that language.
Keep the scene understandable
Use consistent names for places and characters, especially when alternating languages. For language practice, ask for a brief correction after the reply instead of mixing several instructions into the scene.
