Account and access

Add Candy AI to your phone's home screen

Use the web app in your browser or install a home-screen shortcut. We offer a PWA rather than a native iOS or Android app.

On iPhone or iPad

  1. Open candys.app in Safari.
  2. Open the browser's Share menu.
  3. Select Add to Home Screen and confirm the shortcut.
  4. Open it from the home screen and sign in to your account.

On Android

  1. Open candys.app in a supported mobile browser such as Chrome.
  2. Open the three-dot browser menu.
  3. Choose Add to Home Screen, or the install option if shown.
  4. Confirm and use the new home-screen icon.

The menu label can differ by browser and version. If you cannot find it, keep using the browser tab; the shortcut is not required for access.

Downloads and connectivity

You do not need an APK from an app directory or a modified download. A home-screen shortcut opens the web service; it does not provide offline AI replies. Keep the browser current and use your normal account sign-in.

On a shared phone, consider who can see the home-screen icon, browser history and notifications. Choose notification permissions deliberately rather than accepting every prompt.
